2nd Grade Chumash Play (2W & 2X)
This morning, 2W & 2X families joined us to celebrate a BIG milestone at ...the 2W & 2X Chumash Play! 🎶 Our students gave a fantastic performance, bringing the five books of Chumash to life through song and story. ✨
The program concluded with the highlight of the day—each student received their very first Chumash, complete with a special personalized bracha from their parents. 📖
We can’t wait to welcome 2Y & 2Z families tomorrow for their turn to shine. Mazal Tov to all our amazing Kitah Bet students!
In honor of Eliezer Ben Yehuda's birthday, students gathered in the Hebrew... lab with food, Israeli music, and games in Hebrew. The Russian-Jewish linguist and journalist compiled the first Hebrew dictionary and was the editor of HaZvi, one of the first Hebrew newspapers published in Israel. We are grateful to him for reviving the Hebrew language that Jews around the world use today. #onlyatthehive

Today, our 8th graders welcomed their peers from Atmosphere Academy, a public ...charter school in the Bronx, for an incredible Martin Luther King Jr. program focused on unity and shared values. 👫✨
Congressman Ritchie Torres kicked off the morning by reminding us of Dr. King's message in his own inspiring words:
“What matters is not the color of your skin. What matters is our common humanity.”
After fun icebreakers, the students studied Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s speech together, reflecting on his life and enduring legacy followed by a day of activities and meaningful lessons. 🙌📖
Looking ahead, this partnership will deepen over the coming weeks as SAR and Atmosphere students collaborate on Names, Not Numbers, documenting and honoring the stories of Holocaust survivors. 🎥✍️

After two days of t-shirt launches and nonstop hype, Sting Night finally ...arrived — and it was epic! We began with a heartfelt perek of Tehillim, praying for the safe and immediate return of all hostages. Decked out in senior-designed Sting Night shirts, students and faculty brought the energy to every moment. Let’s Go Sting! #onlyatthehive
We gathered on the steps this morning, joined in tefillah at a time of hopeful ...anticipation. As we continue to pray for the safe return of the hostages and for healing for all, our hearts remain filled with both reflection and optimism for better days.
Together, we celebrated a special milestone with our dear friend Tomer Ades from Kfar Aza, wishing him a virtual mazal tov on the reopening of the Sderot location of his "HaHummus Shel Techina" chain of hummus restaurants. This location had been shuttered since October 7th, and we are excited for Tomer and his dedicated employees! MAZAL TOV @ahummussheltchina!
