Rabbi Krauss at Yonkers City Council Hearing

Rabbi Krauss had the opportunity to address the Yonkers City Council about its proposed non-conditional ceasefire resolution, a resolution both pro-Palestinian and pro-Israel groups oppose, evident in the large demonstrations outside the hearing. 

Rabbi Krauss urged the council to remember all the hostages held by Hamas — including U.S. citizens — in considering any resolution presented by those who do not respect the right of Israel to exist.

After months of discussions and weeks of debate, the Yonkers City Council has tabled the resolution.
