🇮🇱 SUPPORT ISRAEL TODAY! 🇮🇱

Building Wings of Hope

Students expressed their love and hope for Israel by creating כנפיים של תקווה (Wings of Hope) murals, honoring those we have lost, especially Livnat Kutz, z”l. Livnat, who was tragically murdered with her family in Kfar Aza, originally created the Wings of Hope mural in the summer of 2023 as a symbol of unity and peace, and her vision inspired this project.

In collaboration with Livnat’s friend from Kfar Aza, Yifat Zezak, our students constructed beautiful installations from loose parts like toys, broken pieces, bath toys, LEGO bricks, and game figurines, forming vibrant angel wings that reflect Livnat’s legacy of hope and resilience.

These murals now hang in our school and at the 50th Precinct, Hebrew Home, and office of Congressman Ritchie Torres, standing as lasting symbols of solidarity, resilience, and collective hope.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who generously contributed these materials, helping us transform broken pieces into a powerful testament to unity, peace, and remembrance. Click here to view a video about our project and learn more.
