Distinguished IDF Veteran Visits the Steps

We were honored to welcome Lt. Col. Bezalel Schneid, who retired from his distinguished 28-year IDF career just two days ago. Originally scheduled to retire on October 11th, he extended his service. Now moving into reserves, Bezalel served as a fighter and commander in Lebanon, Judea and Samaria, and Gaza. Most recently, he commanded northern Israel under the Home Front Command. Students, faculty and staff were moved as he led us in the misheberach for the chayalim on the steps on Thursday.
