Spreading the Word…and the Hummus!

We were delighted to have our friends Amit and Tomer Ades from Kfar Aza back in our kitchen preparing Tomer’s signature hummus with a group of our students. Thanks to our community’s overwhelming support, nearly 300 containers of hummus were ordered, raising an additional $8,300 to assist the employees of Tomer’s hummuseria in Sderot.

Amit and Tomer have been on a whirlwind tour this week trying to generate attention and support for the evacuated families of their kibbutz who are experiencing great financial stress. We are grateful for the partnership of the various schools, organizations, and companies that have hosted them.
