SAR Academy’s Book Fair and Mini Mall Bring Community Together
The SAR Academy Parent Association Book Fair was great fun. Throughout the week, students enjoyed class visits and discovering amazing books.
This year, SAR Academy introduced the Super Reader Spotlight, celebrating our students’ love for reading and showcasing their favorite books, authors, and reading spots!
Before closing shop, the Book Fair was open to the public on Sunday at the Pre-Chanukah SAR Mini Mall, organized by the SAR Academy and High School Parent Association. Visitors of all ages enjoyed a day of shopping, entertainment, great bites, and pre-Chanukah ruach.
Children enjoyed a variety of engaging activities, including a captivating magic show, face painting, and sports. Special highlights included the Chanukah card-making station for Smiles for the Kids in Israel, yoga for kids with donations supporting Chai Lifeline, and a reading of What Would You Wish For? by SAR grandparent and author David Sable.
Thank you to everyone who participated and made this week of learning, entertainment and celebrating so memorable.
