Rav Eliezer Melamed Visits SAR Academy

SAR Academy had the honor of welcoming Rav Eliezer Melamed, one of Israel’s leading Torah scholars. Rav Melamed’s monumental work, Pninei Halacha, is deeply influential in both the American Modern Orthodox community and the Dati Le’umi community in Israel. In fact, each week, a group of our sixth graders spends their lunchtime studying Pninei Halacha. We are currently focusing on the laws of the bracha of Shehecheyanu.

During his visit, Rav Melamed joined members of the SAR faculty and several students for a meaningful conversation around Talmud Torah. It was especially exciting to see our students thoughtfully engage Rav Melamed in dialogue and share their own perspectives.
