Honoring the Past, Empowering the Future

SAR Academy 8th grade launched the Names, Not Numbers ® program, joined by 20 students from Atmosphere Academy. We were honored to welcome the program’s founder Mrs. Tova Rosenberg and special guest Jeffrey Salgo, a retired CBS News producer, who made the opening session unforgettable.

Through this project, students will research, interview, and film Holocaust survivors, learning from journalists and filmmakers to create a powerful documentary. The final film will honor both the survivors and the students’ work.
