First Grade Siddur Play

It was wonderful to welcome families to join us in celebrating our SAR Academy first graders receiving their first siddurim. The students’ preparation and dedication showed as they beautifully presented their First Grade Siddur Play through beautiful song and performance. The theme of the presentation was “ואני תפילה” (I am prayer) and in preparation for the siddur play, each child wrote a word that they daven for. Each child created individual artwork based on their tefillah word and built a wall of tefilot on stage. It was heartwarming for families and teachers to hear the children share their own personal tefilot during the performance and beyond. We hope this celebration marks the beginning of a profound connection for our first graders with their siddurim. Mazal tov the SAR Academy First Grade on reaching this important milestone!
