Sunday’s ELC Back-to-School Family Event was a blast! Our Early Childhood ...families came together for a fun-filled day in the sun—connecting with one another, laughing, crafting, jumping, splashing, and enjoying pizza and sweet treats.
A huge thank you to our amazing Parent Association chairs—Tani Gordon, Esty Hershfield, and Erica Zuckerman—for making it all possible.
This morning, we gathered on the steps to commemorate 9/11. 🇺🇸
...We came together for tehillim and honored the lives lost and the courage of the first responders. We heard from our own security guard, Eric, who was serving as an NYPD officer downtown when the towers were struck. Thank you for your heroism, Eric.

Today was packed with energy—icebreakers and bonding with Senior LEADers, Shacharit, gradewide breakfast, tours, iPad setup, and advisory sessions—giving the Class of 2029 a true taste of what’s to come.

The wait is over! We can’t wait to welcome all our SAR Academy students ...tomorrow for the first day of school! 🎉✨
Today, students in the ITC, ELC, First Grade, and Middle School got a sneak peek — meeting teachers, visiting classes, and connecting with friends and families.
Our first graders also celebrated the special 1st Grade Tallit Ceremony, a beloved SAR tradition. The tallit is embroidered with the students’ names, and as they sat beneath it, parents gave them brachot to mark the start of this new journey. This tallit will travel with them throughout their SAR experience — from Siddur to Chumash to Navi plays. 💛
