Bronx Borough President Vanessa L. Gibson Joins Faculty In-Service

During the SAR Academy faculty in-service on Veterans Day, we had the privilege of hosting Bronx Borough President Vanessa L. Gibson. She shared insights into her journey to leadership, her vision for the Bronx, her perspective on the recent mayoral election, and reaffirmed her commitment to the safety of our community. We also had the zchut of inducting two legendary members of our faculty, Morah Sarah Richter (36 years) and Morah Golda Sturm (32 years), to our Faculty Wall of Fame, in recognition of their extraordinary dedication and impact on generations of students. Throughout the day, more than 80 members of our faculty and staff were certified in CPR as part of our ongoing commitment to safety and preparedness. We will continue to offer training sessions throughout the year.
