A Message of Connectivity from Brave Chayalim

We were deeply moved and honored by the visit of Dr. Captain Shai Kropveld, Captain Daniel Weiss, and Lieutenant Roni Raffeld-Bluth from the IDF at SAR. They began their day with an interview in 5th grade and visited the High School where they shared with us how proud they are to serve in the IDF and gave us background on their specific army units. They each served on the front lines during various months since October 7th. They explained their reasons for coming to the U.S., including a desire to return the sense of connection with the broader Jewish community that they have felt since October 7th. Their message was one of connectivity, hopefulness, and pride in what they have been doing, and they were eager to share stories with our community.
