It’s been a week since we welcomed former hostage Omer Shem Tov and his ...parents to the steps — but the energy, the emotion, the joy still echo through the building.

Our students — who have been praying for the hostages' return for 602 days — excitedly greeted him with dancing, singing, and pure love.

You could see Omer taking in the energy of our students -- it was a moment of deep hope and unbreakable connection — one we’ll carry with us forever. 🎗️🇮🇱💛

Still—58 hostages remain in captivity.

We had the ...profound privilege of welcoming Omer Shem Tov to our school. Months earlier, his cousin Leat stood on these same steps and shared his story. We prayed with her then, holding on to her hope that the next time she returned, Omer would be by her side.

She was right.
Hashem hears the tefilot of children.

On Friday morning, we waited to recite the blessing of “Matir Asurim”—"the One who frees the captive"—so we could say it with Omer, in person, as we welcomed him to our steps.

It was a moment filled with gratitude and hope.

And yet, it was incomplete.

We continue to pray for the safe and immediate return of the 58 hostages who are still not home.
