SAR High School Welcomes Natan Sharansky and Rachel Sharansky Danziger

SAR High School had the profound privilege of welcoming Natan Sharansky and his daughter, Rachel Sharansky Danziger, for a powerful and inspiring program with the students. Honored as the Guest of Honor at this past Sunday’s SAR Dinner, Natan Sharansky also took time to speak directly with the students on Monday morning. In a moving dialogue, Rachel interviewed her father, guiding a thoughtful conversation that was further enriched by insightful questions from the students. Natan Sharansky’s courage and moral clarity have long made him a heroic and inspirational figure for our community. For many of the students, however, his story had previously lived in the pages of history. Hearing directly from him, and through the unique lens of a conversation with his daughter, transformed that history into something deeply personal and meaningful.
