LEADING WITH COMPASSION & CONVICTION

This academic year, over 1635 students are experiencing the learning, programs, and values that make the SAR journey unique and special. Since SAR’s inception, the school has become known for a special warmth, and remarkable אוירה, where Torah values and a strong connection to Medinat Yisrael is at the core of all we do. The members of the SAR Guardian Circle, SAR’s major donor program, have made Jewish education, and SAR in particular, a priority in their tzedakah.

The combined giving of the Guardian Circle families ensures that decisions regarding student experiences, scholarship, and school operations are approached from a position of strength and that everything we do is based on what’s in the best interest of the students, without compromise. With this mindset, we strengthen our community, elevate learning, deepen our commitment to thought leadership, and create opportunities for doing good within our community and in the world around us.

ONE ANNUAL GIFT

Your participation in the Guardian Circle represents your annual philanthropic contribution to SAR. With this one annual gift from $10,000 up to $180,000, your family is included in all SAR annual appeals during the current academic year including our two major fundraising campaigns — the SAR Dinner Campaign and the BEE4SAR Shavuot Appeal.

This gift covers sponsorships for grade level programs and special events of your choice (Yom HaShoah, Yom Ha’atzmaut, Night of Arts & Music etc). We will send you a comprehensive listing of the programs and you can select the ones for which you would like to be listed as sponsors.

Periodically during the year, you will be invited to special events for our Guardian Circle participants, in-person or virtually.

In recognition of the investment and partnership of our donors, we recognize families publicly in our printed and online scrolls by their level of participation. This list is published at the time of our Anniversary Celebration and in the SAR Annual Report. Of course, anonymity will be respected for those families who do not want their names included in our scrolls.

FUNDING YOUR GIFT

The school appreciates securing Guardian Circle pledges early in the fiscal year so that we can plan and budget accordingly. Your pledge can be funded at any time during the school year. The SAR fiscal year runs from September 1st through August 31st. 

Gifts can be funded through Donor Advised Funds, IRA distributions, and stock or wire transfers, credit cards or checks.
