GUARDIAN CIRCLE:

This academic year, over 1675 students are experiencing the learning, programs and values that make the SAR journey unique and special. Since SAR’s inception, the school has become known for a special warmth, and remarkable אוירה , where Torah values and a strong connection to Medinat Yisrael are at the core of all we do. The members of the SAR Guardian Circle, SAR’s major donor program, have made Jewish education, and SAR in particular, a priority in their tzedakah.

The collective contributions of the Guardian Circle families ensure that decisions regarding student experiences, scholarships, and school operations are made from a position of strength, prioritizing the best interests of the students without compromise. With this mindset, we strengthen our community, elevate learning, deepen our commitment to thought leadership, and create opportunities to do good within our community, in Israel, and throughout the world.

We welcome your partnership in providing an enduring and outstanding educational experience to a generation of students who will represent the leaders, professionals, and community members of our future.

Jewish education is the most important investment we can make. It is critical to shaping a strong future for
Am Yisrael.

Partnering with SAR to offer the very best educational journey to all of our students today directly impacts the world that they will build and create tomorrow. The Guardian Circle comprises SAR parents, grandparents, and alumni who are some of the most philanthropic members of our community. These families, in all stages of life, share a profound commitment to Jewish education and the Jewish future.

With approximately 150 families, the Guardian Circle includes those newly affiliated with SAR and those who have supported us for decades. This remarkable group is united by their dedication to their children, grandchildren, and Am Yisrael.

Provide need-based tuition assistance to over 35% of our families and ensure every child has a place at SAR. Annually, the school provides approximately $7.5M in scholarship grants.

Ensure we attract and maintain the most talented faculty and staff for our students.

Give each child the attention they need both inside and outside the classroom.

Supporting state-of-the-art technology infrastructure and opportunities.

Professional development opportunities for faculty keep our teachers learning and bringing best practices to our students.

Maintaining and improving our facilities in our three buildings, on two campuses.

Respond to a timely need for unanticipated programs that are mission-critical.

When we are well funded, we can do more for every student. Experiences can be richer and programming can be enhanced.

Your Guardian Circle gift may be one of your most significant annual charitable donations. Our families understand the critical importance of Jewish education and regard SAR as an important investment in the next generation. The gift you make to SAR reflects your belief in the profound responsibility of ‘Generation to Generation,’ and that responsibility begins here with us. As you consider your gift amount, please know that your gift will make an enduring impact.

Partner with us so that together we guard
and protect what matters to us most.

The school appreciates securing Guardian Circle pledges early in the fiscal year so that we can plan and budget accordingly. We encourage multi-year commitments, which provide sustained support and stability for our initiatives. Your pledge can be funded any time during the school year. The SAR fiscal year runs from September 1st through August 31st. Gifts are recognized in our donor scrolls and the Annual Report, unless you request anonymity.

Gifts can be funded through donor-advised funds, IRA distributions, stock or wire transfers, credit cards, or checks.

There are many initiatives that begin as ideas and come to fruition because of the belief and backing of like-minded foundations. If you have a family foundation or are a member of a board that provides these opportunities, please be in touch with us. We welcome the opportunity to apply for grants.

We welcome the opportunity to answer questions or speak with you about this program or other philanthropic opportunities. More information on the Guardian Circle can be found at: www.saracademy.org/guardian-circle.
