Here’s the Latest @ SAR
On Sunday, we welcomed our Early Learning Center Grands for a heartwarming ...“Join the Joy” pre-Purim celebration with their ELC grandchildren! Families rotated through interactive activities, designing ra’ashanim, crowns, and masks; conquering a festive Purim obstacle course; and creating hero signs for a special photo shoot. Our ELC ARTS Sparks Team led a lively Purim-themed kumzitz filled with singing and dancing, and everyone enjoyed delicious Purim treats. It was a joyous and memorable day as we embraced the excitement of the upcoming chag together!

Morale is built on knowing you’re not alone.
In this message, a ...chayal shows what it means to feel the support of a community thousands of miles away.
That is the heart of the Mezuzah Project.
In just a few days, our SAR community has sponsored 318 mezuzot for IDF bases across Israel...18% of our goal of 1,734 mezuzot, representing the number of students enrolled at SAR this year.
Between now and Taanit Esther next Monday, we are working to close the gap.
A mezuzah is more than a symbol. It is a statement of presence, protection, and connection. Our mission is simple: to help ensure that every IDF base has a checked and kosher mezuzah.
Be part of placing a mezuzah on every IDF doorpost.

🇮🇱 💙 Today we launch The Mezuzah Project at SAR -- help us ensure ...every IDF base has mezuzot.
⚠️ Tens of thousands of mezuzot on IDF bases are missing or unchecked — some since 1973.
As Purim approaches, we think about hidden miracles.
The mezuzah stands quietly at our doorposts — a powerful symbol of Jewish identity and protection.
Now we can extend that protection beyond our homes —
to the chayalim who safeguard Medinat Yisrael and Am Yisrael. 🇮🇱
🎯 Between now and Ta’anit Esther, our goal is 1,734 mezuzot —
representing one for every SAR student.
From ELC through Grade 12, our students are learning about the mitzvah of mezuzah and taking part in the initiative!

Thanks to your generosity, our SAR community provided AZ Rosensaft (AC ’19, ...HS ’23) and his unit of 48 chayalim serving up north with much-needed winter jackets. Your continued support helps us meet urgent needs whenever and wherever they arise. Over Midwinter Break, members of the SAR community, including parents, ...grandparents, and faculty, returned to the south of Israel. Not simply to visit, but to stand alongside those who have become part of our extended community since October 7.
They stood at the Nova Festival site and heard from our friend and survivor Maya Izoutcheev.
They spent meaningful time in Sderot and ate at our friend Tomer Ades' @ahummussheltchina and visited Kfar Aza with Amit Ades -- in both cities, bearing witness and listening to stories of loss, courage, and resilience firsthand.
They visited Adi Negev, whose work supporting injured soldiers and individuals with disabilities continues to inspire us.
This is what it means to show up and to strengthen connections.
Thank you to all who made this recent visit, our second mission this winter, such a meaningful day for our extended community.
