First Grade Mesibat Siddur

SAR Academy’s first grade students took center stage in a joyous celebration—their Mesibat Siddur! Joined by their families, the young students showcased their excitement and dedication to Tefillah in a beautiful performance and each child received their first siddur, marking a special moment in their Jewish learning journey.
Mazal tov to Kitah Aleph on this exciting milestone! The performance featured beautiful songs and through their hard work and preparation, the students truly brought the theme of this year’s program, “ואני תפילה” (I Am Prayer), to life.
As part of the celebration, each child reflected on a meaningful word they pray for, creating unique and expressive artwork. These individual pieces came together to form a stunning wall of Tefilot displayed on stage, highlighting the personal and collective power of prayer.
This milestone marks the beginning of what we hope will be a lifelong and meaningful relationship between our first graders and their siddurim. May this be the first of many steps in their journey of Tefillah, connection, and Jewish learning!
