SAR Softball Grades 1-2
Dear Parents of First and Second Graders,
We are pleased to announce that the SAR Sunday Morning Softball Program will begin in April 2010. This program is open to all first and second grade students, both boys and girls, currently attending SAR. The purpose of the program is to introduce children of all levels to the game while teaching sportsmanship and having fun. No prior experience is necessary and we encourage all children to participate.
We will be holding evaluations on Sunday, March 14, 2010 from 9:30AM to noon in the SAR Academy gym. All players (both new and returning) should plan to attend at any time during that period for a 10-15 minute evaluation where they will play catch and take a few swings to help us in team placement. Please bring a baseball glove with you at that time.
All games will be played at the SAR fields located between the ELC and the "Big Building". Games are played on Sundays, begin at 9:00AM or 10:15AM and are generally finished by 11:30AM. We expect to start the season on Sunday, April 11.
Please note, payment is required at the time of registration. Your registration will not be completed until online payment is received.
