Grandparents of SAR
Dear Grandparents of SAR Students:
It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the Grandparent page of our school website. We are excited to take on the role of better connecting grandparents with the school's activities. Click here for the latest Shutafim Newsletter made especially for the grandparents of SAR.
SAR is a special place and if you have had the opportunity to visit, you probably have felt the excitement that our grandkids feel everyday. There is a sense of comfort in knowing that our grandchildren go to school in an environment where learning about their heritage and their religion is as important as receiving an excellent general studies education.
Have you ever had the pleasure of attending any of these SAR events?
- A first grade siddur ceremony or a second grade chumash ceremony...
- An SAR Academy or High School graduation...
- The annual Yom Ha'atzmaut celebration...
- Or the fifth grade Grandparents Day....
If you have had the privilege of attending any of these events or other SAR school activities you know the meaning of the word nachas!
In order to further benefit our grandchildren we want to invite you to join us in establishing Shutafim: The Grandparents of SAR.
We ask that you assist us by providing your contact information in the our online form, (click here for the form). On the attached form, please indicate if you would like to receive the weekly SAR Academy bulletin, Chadashot, or the SAR High School bi-weekly, Koleinu. These email bulletins not only include a recap of school activities but also have many photos and quips from the students—your grandchildren. You will also read about upcoming programs so you can have wonderful conversations with your grandchildren about the events at school. The cost of the newsletter is free, but the enjoyment will be priceless.
