SAR Early Learning Center

Exploring, probing, creative and curious. Young children’s minds move in magnificent ways. At the Early Learning Center, we help each child feel comfortable to explore their world and their thoughts in a warm and loving Jewish environment. An environment that is rich in song, dance, art and holiday customs. Where the smells, tastes, and sounds of Yiddishkeit are part of their everyday experience—with introductions to holidays, letters, the rhythm of the week and the cycle of Jewish life. In the ELC children feel comfortable, safe and secure to observe, to participate, and to act.

Our teachers are the best at what they do. They understand the learning process and that education evolves through play, exploration and enrichment. They are experienced, they are creative, and they are masters at integrating the secular and Judaic worlds so that they are one and the same to our young students. Everyday we see children enlightened by programs and curriculum, by friendships and by learning.

In the ELC, we believe the social component is equally important to the educational part of the curriculum. Nursery school is often the place where first real friendships are formed—where the children begin to truly understand the give and take in a relationship. Our teachers teach what it means to be a friend, how and when to approach others, and the skills and etiquette of friendship. Just as in the other parts of our curriculum, we bring to life what the Torah teaches us about how we deal with our peers, neighbors and friends.

Everyday we feel privileged to be guiding your children and helping to open their eyes and minds to all that is theirs to explore. Call for more information or to schedule a visit to SAR.
